Winter Flakes

It's amazing what winter does, the inspiration that arises in photographers this time of year. The beauty that the weather unfolds gives us an opportunity to capture a different kind of moment than summer, spring, or fall. Whether it's a newly fallen snowflake or a tree covered in snow, a frozen river or stream or children building a snowman. Moments like these only happen during the winter so getting the chance to capture them is a fantastic feeling. A lot of people are against winter when most of us embrace it. Capture something unique and breath taking - litterally.

I have not had a chance to get out there to get 2014 winter pictures but winter has just begun. The trails for snow machines aren't open, children have yet to open their sleds that they will get on christmas...when the time is right, I'll be out there catching all of these glorious sights.
